Wild pollinators are critical in producing our great berries. To ensure their happiness, we follow organic growing principles, maintain a tract of grassland and natural areas throughout the farm for native pollinators to live, ensure multiple flower species are blooming throughout the growing season, turn off the lights at night (moths pollinate), and no longer keep honeybee hives. Further adhering to regenerative agriculture principles, the solar panels on the barn roof provide all our electricity and we just installed a screech owl nesting box and a barn owl nesting box so that future owl families can enjoy the grounds.
